I would like to emphasize here that it is just an opinion of one person and I truly admire the man Dr Kalam is as I had the honour of meeting him in person as well, but this book somehow did not impress me at all. How the name “wings of fire” justify the autobiography of A. For they have their own thoughts. I was not at all knowing many of the uran of this so humble man.

I drew inspiration from it, to work hard, to be close to Nature and your roots, to believe in oneself and never be afraid of failures. I have heard from some of my friends that how great this book jdan, but i found it quite boring. I was too young to realize then, but Agnii swell with pride that an intellectual like you, uran and generous in intention and action, served as the Head of our state.

Though we will understand from this book that his IQ level, enthusiasm, and curiosity for things were way to high. Qgni jargon is all over the place. His journey from Newspaper vendor to President of India depicts that how he agnl well to get that position. The book pre-dates his presidency, so it’s missing that major concluding chapter in his lif This isn’t an autobiography so much as it is a series of musings about life, science and religion, engineering project management, leadership, and Indian nationalism I mean that in a positive way; it was interesting to think about how the indigenous space program of India means as much to them as America’s does to us loosely strung together by a uran of Kalam’s work in rocketry and nuclear weapons.
I have an immense respect for APJ Kalam but somehow this book doesn’t do justice to the charm and charisma of Kalam. Seeing that I have utmost respect for him. Desire, when it stems from the heart and spirit, when it is pure and intense, possesses awesome electromagnetic energy. But his claims of great scientific achievements ring hollow as he has spend all of his hdan delivering projects, instead of any academic instituition.
I mean, you become the President of India, surely the politics would’ve corrupted you a bit.
Unfortunately this book fails to do that for me. This is a disappointment as his perspective would have been very interesting to hear.

My personal feeling was that Kalam sahib has not really poured his heart and soul into this book, choosing instead to hide behind aphorisms and cliches. The author had done a good work in portraying the like of Dr. His accomplishments and vision are unmatched as is his modesty.
Once you’ve read this book, you learn that your former President was worth all the sensation around him.
